Default Out with the old, In with the NEW!

Just picked up this sweet 100 for 9grand... the AHC is toast. The guy was gonna have it fixed and sell for 12 but i told him no bother and Ill buy it for 9. Ordering the from Slee the OME heavy kit with upper control arms and diff drop. Its gonna be a family adventurer not a crawler so I am ok with the IFS.... for now.

The FJ80 I have is amazing, but its dated, slow and my wife doesnt like it. Now that the taco is about done, i have my toy and work truck. And now we have a family car she can drive. The v8 gets a little better mileage than my 80 and is way faster... Its a lexus model so super nice inside, nicest car i have ever had.

My FJ80 was stick H41 4.9 1st gear and absolutely epic offroad for a big suv... way better than my old 60 on leafs. I pulled the trigger on this 100 telling my wife I wouldnt get crazy with it... It already needs suspension... do some 33 all terrains and a rear locker and sliders and... ahhahah cant wait!!

sold the FJ80 for 8500, so this new one only cost me 500. It has 117k, which is slightly low for the age. Planning on removing the running boards tomorrow, do timing belt and water pump this week... ordering suspension as well.

Nice find man. Nothing wrong with those for a family vehicle and adventurer.

Thomas, have you seen the new line of C/O and rear shocks from OME?

They look very nice.
